An experienced Design/Build Contractor will provide an Owner with a
single point of accountability, and the Owner will derive greater value
on his or her project due to the value engineering expertise of the
Contractor. A Design/Build Contractor's experience in all phases of
construction allows him or her the ability to analyze constructability
during the design phase in order to keep tight control over costs.

The ability of a Contractor and his design team to complete plans and
specifications in a timely manner without going over budget on the project
is an essential part of the process. The Design/Build Contractor is
able to design the project within the Owner's budget and the Owner is
assured of a unified system of project design and construction.
Projects can be initiated on a "fast-track" basis even while
design is still under way. This means an Owner's interim financing costs
can be reduced, and the project can be occupied at an earlier date.
Other time-dependent costs may also be reduced.
Design/Build gives the Contractor complete control over project performance.
Because of his or her construction experience, the Contractor is able
to facilitate early procurement of critical materials, schedule subcontractors
for peak performance on the job, and deliver to the Owner a quality project
throughout all phases.
